• Photos: Images you submit for breed identification are processed temporarily and are not stored on our servers after the analysis is complete.
• Usage data: Anonymous analytics such as feature usage and crash reports to improve the app. This data does not identify you personally.
• Device information: Basic device metadata (OS version, app version) used for debugging and compatibility.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and improve the breed identification service.
• To diagnose technical issues and fix bugs.
• To understand how users interact with the app in aggregate.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data retention

Photos submitted for identification are deleted immediately after processing. Anonymized usage data is retained for up to 12 months for analysis purposes, after which it is permanently deleted.

4. Third-party services

Cat Identifier may use third-party services for analytics and crash reporting (e.g., Firebase, Sentry). These services operate under their own privacy policies and may process anonymized data.

5. Children's privacy

Cat Identifier is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
